"We make ready. We will climb it. This time we will climb on to the end."Tenzing Norgay
We partner experienced consultants with industry veterans to design and deliver outcomes, not just activity. Supporting manufacturing, operations and engineering leaders to cut through vendor noise, deliver capital effectively and operationalise programmes that turn ambition into real value. Like Tenzing Norgay guiding Edmund Hillary to the summit of Everest, we equip and empower clients to achieve their goals.
By your side. All the way.
Our approach is simple: Aligned incentives. Lean teams. Embedded Wayfinders. Enduring capability.
We work with the people who own the outcome, the leaders in manufacturing, operations and engineering delivering programmes that matter, at organisations where ambition is high and internal capacity is stretched. We see this most often in three sectors riding the steepest digital and capital transformation curves:
Manufacturers building the shop floor for the next decade, rationalising platforms and battling tough market conditions.
Primes and tier-1 suppliers running multi-year capital programmes under regulatory and security pressure.
Operators rebalancing toward lower-carbon production, with capital portfolios and digital operating models to match.
A pilot works brilliantly, then stops there. Two years on, it still hasn't reached the rest of your business. Underneath: hundreds of overlapping platforms, vendors pulling in different directions and a digital strategy that lives on paper but never realises the value. The next initiative or pilot only adds to the complexity.
Multiple partners. Multiple workstreams. A business case approved 18 months ago that hasn't evolved with the programme. Governance feels ineffective. Slip happens at the seams, not the centre.
You know what you want to achieve but your team is at capacity, your vendors are pulling in multiple directions and the capability you need internally is not there yet.
Tenzing was created in response to what manufacturing, operations and engineering leaders told us they really needed: clarity over complexity, capability over dependency and value over programme bloat. We believed a different shape of firm could meet that need better, one that works alongside clients to deliver focused programmes, stronger internal ownership and results that last beyond the life of the engagement.
Aligned incentives. Lean teams. Embedded Wayfinders. Enduring capability.

We assemble the right team for each engagement, combining strategic oversight, specialist expertise and delivery capability tailored to our clients' needs. This approach gives our clients direct access to senior leadership alongside the flexibility and scale needed to support complex projects.
Jon is a manufacturing engineer by background who has spent his career helping complex businesses define, mobilise and deliver large-scale transformation programmes that create measurable operational value. Over 15 years at Accenture, he worked on more than 40 transformations across manufacturing, engineering and supply chain, supporting clients in consumer, oil and gas, aerospace and defence from early strategy through to implementation.
He has led some of the most ambitious Digital Manufacturing programmes in the market, from initial concept to deployment across hundreds of assets. Alongside this delivery experience, Jon also led Accenture's Manufacturing & Operations practice and the Consumer Industry segment within its Supply Chain and Engineering business.
Jon is passionate about ensuring transformation is anchored in value from the outset, not treated as an afterthought. He believes the real test of any programme lies in how well value, technology and operations are connected, because that is where transformation either delivers lasting impact or gradually loses momentum.
jonathan.parr@tenzingperformance.comGemma is a transformation and capital programmes leader with deep experience delivering complex initiatives across industrial, utilities, energy and defence environments. Throughout her career, she has led the orchestration and delivery of large-scale, multi-year programmes, the kind many consultancies advise on but rarely own. Her work has included overseeing capital investment programmes, managing delivery partners, standing up governance structures and coordinating complex stakeholder environments where operational continuity and delivery certainty matter.
Her perspective is shaped by operational accountability: signing off budget, defending schedules, navigating delivery risk and bringing challenged programmes back under control when timelines or alignment begin to drift. Known for combining strategic oversight with practical delivery discipline, Gemma focusses on what is genuinely achievable in the real world, not simply what looks convincing in a presentation.
gemma.brady@tenzingperformance.comWayfinders are the senior industry leaders we partner with, people who have led the kind of programmes and transformations our clients are undertaking. They bring decades of experience inside global organisations, including former VP-level engineers, Chief Manufacturing Officers and Heads of Digital Operations.
Our Wayfinders form a curated, on-call network who join specific engagements where their experience can create the greatest impact. Clients get to work with operators who have faced these challenges and summited the mountain before. We bring practical knowledge from people who've delivered change from the inside and have the battle scars.
The Tenzing three-stage method, named for the way Tenzing Norgay, the Everest sherpa from whom the firm takes its name, framed a climb: agree the summit, map the route, then climb it together from basecamp to summit.
What are we trying to achieve and what is the value?
Establish a shared understanding of the vision, strategic ambition and high-level business case, ensuring alignment among the leadership team.
How are we going to do it and what is the plan to get there?
Build the business case and delivery plan from Basecamp outputs, clarifying capabilities, prioritising actions and unlocking value from partners.
Executing the value.
Embedded support through programme delivery and value tracking, ensuring the programme delivers not only immediate results but lasting capability, enduring value and a shared stake in long-term success.
We lead, support and clear the path, but the client reaches the summit.
The discipline of the method comes from four commitments:
Outcome-based contracts wherever they fit. We succeed when you succeed.
Small, senior teams with clear accountability.
Industry veterans alongside elite consultants.
We don't just deliver, we upskill your team to sustain.
Tell us a bit about what you're trying to solve, or, if you're an experienced operator who wants to work with us, tell us about you. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you, and if we know who is, we'll point you at them.
Thanks for getting in touch. Jon or Gemma will be in touch shortly.
If your programme is stuck, your roadmap is unclear, or your team is struggling with the complexity across your portfolio. No pitch. Just a useful conversation.
